The 4 ski resorts of Brienz, Meiringen, Hasliberg, Axalp make up the alpenregion.ch, which is located between the three Alpine passes of Grimsel, Susten and Brünig and the turquoise Lake Brienz (Brienzersee). In the 2 winter sports areas Meiringen-Hasliberg and Axalp above Brienz, skiers, carvers, snowboarders, winter hikers and tobogganists spend exhilarating winter holidays. The ski area offers 80 km of groomed pistes as high as 2,433 m asl, and is served by 20 ski lifts. An insider tip for cross-country skiers is the 15 km route through the idyllic Gadmental valley.
