Bionaz - Ski resort facts
Bionaz, the last municipality in Valpelline, situated at an altitude of 1600 metres, is a well equipped Nordic ski resort, far from the great masses of skiers. The district has excellent slopes, suitable for all levels of ability. One slope, with a Biathlon rifle range, allows cross-country skiers, to cross the forests surrounding lake Lexert, passing through exceptional natural landscapes, possibly alongside the champions and Olympic champions who choose this as their training locality. The tracks extend for an overall length of 10 km, over three circuits of 2, 3 and 5 km respectively.
